Gift Codes and Promo Codes
There are two kinds of codes:
- Gift codes give you a plan for free for a set time.
- Promo codes take money off when you subscribe.
Both are used when you sign up. You can’t add one to an account you already have.
Use a Gift Code
Section titled “Use a Gift Code”- On the Sign Up tab, click Have a gift code?.
- Enter your Gift Code and click Apply.
- hrglass shows the plan you’re getting and for how long.
- Finish signing up.
You’ll see Gift applied! when you’re in. You don’t pick a plan or enter a card. The gift already covers that.
Got a gift link instead? Open it and the code fills in for you.
If you see This gift code isn’t valid or has already been used, check the code for typos. Each code works once.
While Your Gift Is Active
Section titled “While Your Gift Is Active”Go to Profile › Subscription. Your plan shows Gifted and Included. There’s nothing to pay.
When Your Gift Ends
Section titled “When Your Gift Ends”You don’t lose anything. hrglass emails you 60, 30, 7 and 1 day before your gift ends. A banner in the app counts down the last 60 days.
When it ends, you get a 14-day free trial on the same plan. Pick a paid plan any time before the trial is over to keep going. Some gifts also come with a discount on your first payment, and hrglass adds it for you at checkout.
To choose a plan early, click Continue with hrglass on the banner.
Use a Promo Code
Section titled “Use a Promo Code”Promo codes come as a link. Sign up from that link and the discount is saved to your account.
Your trial banner shows the promo’s name and applied at checkout. The discount comes off when you pay for a plan.
A few things to know:
- Promo codes can’t be used with Lifetime Deal pricing.
- Some promo codes expire. If yours has, you’ll still get your free trial, just without the discount.
