Your Free Trial and What Happens When It Ends
Every new account gets 14 days free, with no credit card. You get the full features of the plan you picked, so you can set up real Clients, track real time and send real Invoices.
Keep an Eye on Your Trial
Section titled “Keep an Eye on Your Trial”While you’re on a trial:
- A Free Trial Mode bar at the top of the app shows how many days you have left. You can hide it, but it comes back for the last 2 days.
- Your account menu shows Free Trial Mode and a link to buy a plan.
- Profile › Subscription shows the day you’re on, the date it ends, and a Choose Your Plan button.
Choose a Plan
Section titled “Choose a Plan”You can pick a plan any time during your trial.
- Click Purchase Plan in the trial bar, or go to Profile › Subscription and click Choose Your Plan.
- Pick Monthly or Annual, and a plan.
- On Team, pick how many seats you need.
- Check out with your card.
Everything you set up during the trial stays: Projects, Clients, Tasks, time entries and Invoices.

When the Trial Ends
Section titled “When the Trial Ends”When your 14 days are up, you have 48 hours to choose a plan. hrglass shows a Trial Ending Soon screen with a countdown. Click Complete Payment to pick a plan and keep going.
After those 48 hours, your account is locked and you’ll see Your Free Trial Has Ended. Click Choose a Plan to unlock it.
Only the workspace owner can choose a plan. If you’re a team member and the workspace is locked, ask the owner to subscribe.
